Boracay In My Mind then perhaps few activities reveal as much about the dynamics of this quest — in all its ardour and paradoxes — than our travels.- Alain de Botton, The Art of Travel Memento Encased and Found Boracay circa 90s Holy week breaks are moments for solitude, self-evaluation and for reflection. It is the perfect time to think of "Life Plans" and fine tune certain deficiencies in our relationship with Him, to each other and to the community. Normally, my wife and I will set aside time to see and assess whether we are living in accordance to God's plans. After such an activity, one feels refreshed in the thought that where you are, what you're doing are still aligned with your creator. During the weekend break, one quiet moment while sifting listlessly through files, I chanced upon some Boracay (Siargao and Pagudpud) pictures taken from as far back as 8 years ago. Silently, I had to thank the Lord for creations like these (especially made perhaps for Filipinos, who have to bear setback after setback throughout the year), the chance to see them and to encase such good memories in pictures. |
