 Deice-ing the Plane  Watch Your Eyes Will...Your Eyes  Can You See the Hollywood Sign at the Background? From Cold to Hot Toronto to Los Angeles (January 2005) Have you tried putting in cold water on a heated glass or the other way around? Surely, a few secs after a crackling sound made is the thundering voice of your mom shouting, "I told you never put something hot on a cold glass!!!!", all the way from the sala. The plane needed an extra 10 minutes for a deiceing process before we took off. I realized that I didn't have seatmates, which was cool. I can snore my way through the 6 hour trip. One thing is that I miss Mitzi beside me. I miss her hand to squeeze during take off and landing. Genes I sure got from my mom. Nervousness genes. Well, I miss her asking me to keep my snoring in check too. I had Will to accompany me throughout the whole flight. I Robot, the film was great with DVD effects and all that stuff plus at $10, you get to see 4 to 8 other films. So I switch from 1 to another, perfect for a person with short attention span. I saw, Harry Potter, Shrek 2, Around the World in 80 days, and 2 other movies I can't recall, Friends last 3 episodes, countless MTVs, and finally a Jazz Radio channel to help me doze off. Finally.... I woke up at the descent to LA, saw the Hollywood sign from 20,000 feet. And realized I arrived. Despite flying from -35 degrees to 25 degrees, the plane and I, didn't break. << Bookmark this post on:
