Papa and Mama - Reflected Sweet Reflections Cafe Adriatico, Mall of Asia Despite being considered middle-class, we were never limited to our resources. We were afforded with the best provisions that Mama and Papa can give. Sometimes it doesn't compare with our more affluent classmates or friends, but hand-me-down uniforms or books, and a patched up pair of trousers and rubber soles are a lot better than not getting our best foundation - teaching the virtue of love for God and passion for education. Despite being away for the past five years, two years now in Canada, my loving wife, Mitzi and I continue to keep in touch and pray that we can be together soon. In the meantime, we connect through prayer, where we thank the Lord every night for Papa and Mama, for their self-less generosity, their unending love and their lifetime of giving to others. (As submitted to the Arreza Chronicle, Vol 1, Issue no. 1) ******** One of the better reasons why we were in Manila was Paparazzi's and Mama's 40th Wedding anniversary. Looking back at how it was planned and how it went, makes me proud and happy not just for the event - but for both of them. Capture the moment by reading Linnor's entry. You can also watch the video of their love story (via You Tube) as presented during the reception. ******* Here are pictures from Linnor's Flickr of the celebration. << |
