Psyclone Canada's Wonderland Come on, I'm talking to you, come on" ~Tears for Fears, 1984 Tell me, how many times can we be child-like? I had a chance of being one for one whole day yesterday. Shooting hoops, jumping, flailing my arms, strapping myself to a giant half-pencil and shouting my lungs out for 10 shrieking seconds - non-stop! Canada's Wonderland, was the site for all our merry-making. An invitation by our friends Lot and Rolly made us decide to get up early on a Sunday, hear mass at 8:30am and be in line to be 10-years old once again. I can't remember when I last rode on a machine and enjoyed my time immensely. Oh, the free trial (which I love doing) on the vibrating Lazy Boy they ask you to sit on from almost all malls doesn't count. It was pure, unadulterated (root word "un-adult") F-U-N we needed just in time for a busy week ahead! ******** If not for the long lines, and the pounding heat of the sun (even an exhausted Spider Man needed a lift), we would have grabbed a bite from and tasted each and every ride. Of course there's always a 2nd time. ******** Top 10 Amusement Parks in the World (May 15, 2007), Canada's Wonderland is at No. 5. Not bad. I'm amused! ******** Top 10 Things to Do with Kids in Toronto I was in 3 of the Top 10 yesterday: Number 8: From 10-4 pm Paramount Canada's Wonderland Number 7: From 6 to 7pm: at Delta Chelsea Hotel : Shai dont forget to try the 130-corkscrew water slide inside your hotel and Number 3 : From 7:30 to 10:30PM: The CN Tower - a dinner at the revolving 360 with Robin Yap and Shai Coggins (and now unknown hahahah, soon-to-be famous blogger, Che Diego, loko lang!) This deserves a separate blog entry by itself! << |
