In the end, Eddie Van Halen took control of his life - not the Kurt Cobain-kind-of-way though. He finally decided to mend his life, mend his relationships and came out a winner. There's no sense of re-telling what 20,000 of us witnessed last week - Eddie Van Halen is the original Guitar Hero and has maintained it despite several issues from the past. He is back! Happy Birthday Eddie! You've proven yourself to be the best before and continues to be the best til today! *********** Surprisingly, Van Halen with all their great performances and multi-platinum albums, wasn't nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame not until this year.
