In the Big D

There was light when we entered at 4PM
It was dark when we left at 9PM
Big D should be called Big S. The S in Dallas should mean "Shopping".
I realized that the last couple of days, in pursuit of not to be holed in the hotel room and feeling ala Bob Harris in "Lost in Translation", while Mitzi was in her training, armed with a good pair of shoes and my reliable plastic cards, I've gone around Dallas ready to see a new city. But with the Canada-like weather, sans the snow, I couldn't even walk for more than 10 minutes or take pictures with the freezing rain.
So the best recourse - the shopping mall, and Dallas has so much of them and I'm going to share most of the next few entries reviewing how great they are...some make me feel as if I'm back in Megamall (in size) or in Podium (in being high-end).
It really is a perfect place for someone who is a closet-shopaholic like me.
Dallas has also afforded us to gorge (with apologies to my gym trainer) and have tasted great food the last couple of days - without touching Tex-Mex but includes my new favorite sandwich resto - Which Wich :)
Our other favorite is Chamberlain's. In 2 nights, we've been to their Fish Market and Steak and Chop House. And we had to go to the gym at 11 PM just to shed off some extra calories :)
Next time we know, the Big D has made us Big M and Bigger J. :)
