Coming Soon Swiss Alps, Greek Isles and France Griffin: As a matter of fact, I like walking for a change! Makes me feel normal." -From the movie, "Jumper" Today is a big day for our vagabonding ways! We received notice that we will soon be taking our Canadian citizenship exams. That could only be from 3 to 12 months of waiting before becoming full-fledged citizens. Soon, we can travel sans the time wasted waiting and the cost for visas. And yes, we can cross the border hopefully with less inquisitive looks from border police. This is really good news for both my wife and I, who were both born to travel, born to see the world - again! woohooo! ************* I found precious images from a past life of snapping pictures all over Europe. I have close to a hundred of these panaromic shots spanning 2 years of seeing children's world almanacs turn into reality. Now we can relieve those dream again - soon. This early, my spirit is soaring..... ************* Saw the movie "Jumper" a few weeks ago and despite the lack of tightness in storytelling and dull acting by both Canadian Hayden Christensen (Luke Skywalker) and Brit Jamie Bell (Billy Elliott), the movie was a visual feast. For obvious reasons, I wish I could be a jumper, someone who can teleport oneself reflexively from one place to another- at a whim. If I were a "jumper", my usual day will be : With Mitzi, Wake up in Toronto, breakfast at In and Out in LA, lunch in Jollibee in Las Pinas, merienda in Cebu, dinner in Paris and back to bed in Toronto. Of course, as a jumper, I also don't need to have visas - maybe even skip a Canadian citizenship exam too? :P << |
