   Happy Birthday Sistah! Ortigas, Makati and Cebu (in that order) Pardon me as I will be reusing my birthday quote and birthday entry from 2006. Well, simply because they are. At least my sister is. This year, we saw each other last March when she threw me a belated birthday dinner, last June when we had cat poop for coffee and last August when we inaugurated the new office, which makes this year which is not even over yet, already a record of sorts. But I digress, as this post is to honor my big sistah! 16 months-difference plus other trivia about her are not enough to characterize who she is and who she's not. Definitely through the years, we've grown apart only in distance but never in our communication and relationship with each other. Back then, there will be no day that we will not fight for anything as trivial as what TV channel to watch or whether I used the bathroom ahead of her. Or whether I was so excited about something or just plainly accusing me of wearing some of her shirts without permission. I guess age mellows us all down. But yes, the distance too added to the melancholy and whether we liked it or not our lives are really intertwined. Just like Donnie and Marie Osmond, or whoever sister and brother tandem I mentioned last time, we now work together, and yes apparently, we've never fought on anything since she started working in 2005. Nothing. No fights. But I know she will get angry if I tell her that I did use some of her shirts without permission 30 years ago :) and I also intentionally extended my stay in the bathroom so she can be late in school. mwahahah.
