Toronto - Garbage Free Dundas Square, Yonge and Dundas Here's what the next half of July looks like: July 14, 2009 - Bastille Day, Indie Day for France. We were there 7 years ago. This time we will watch it as it unfolds at 1045pm (Paris time) via this site. July 15, 2009 - Pay Day and Harry Potter opens in Cinemas :) July 16, 2009 - Ate's Birthday; 18th year anniversary of Earthquake in Phils. July 21, 2009 - Kobe Bryant in Manila :) July 24, 2009 - Depeche Mode in Toronto - and of course I've got tickets The rest of the month will be as busy. I'm looking forward to the last day of the current Toronto strike. I hope it ends soon. Some people are missing out on a great Toronto weather. ****** Popo-ker Face, the song sensationalized by Lady Gaga will be heard in the Philippines on August 11, 2009. Wow, would I pay Php 7,875.00, approximately $ 175.00 to see her. I'm paying $45 for Depeche Mode, so do the Math. I'd rather see America, John Ford Coley and Ambrosia on the 31st at the Big Dome :) ****** UAAP Rivals De La Salle Green Archers take on defending champions Ateneo's Blue Eagles on August 9, Sunday, 1 PM at the Araneta Coliseum. I guess I will be missing that too. In the office front though, our walls are colored green and our carpets are blue. That says something of how we see our rival school. ****** Why am I concerned about the goings-on in Manila during this time? Well...I just got my tickets for Manila. Summer here we go again! << |
