Everyday is My Birthday

I hate to say it, but your greetings have come too late.
A happy birthday greeting doesn't cut it anymore.
Well not quite, You ask "Why?"
It is because for months now everyday has been happy.
Whether we spend it aimlessly in Tagaytay or
experiencing a first in Toronto,
the celebration is not going to end.

Great sports teams use the "halftime" to devise a plan to either stage a rally or fortify a lead. Champion teams use the first 5-10 minutes after the long break to know how they will fare for the rest of the game. If one isn't pumped up after halftime, when will it happen?

I just came from halftime. I consider 40 as the end of the 2nd quarter or the first half. Geez, if I end up past 80, that's overtime. But then again, this is my second wind : 41 years old. Maybe, just being contented with blessings received:

* I've seen what I want to see from 17 countries and more than 300 cities
* I've experienced being on top to lead a company and be an office staff and enjoyed both levels in organization
* I've worked hard to have amassed some sort of gummy lump contents that I wish to share with family and friends someday, and this includes a beach front parcel of land in an island somewhere. :)

Although I want to do more, some of these are more than enough for several lifetimes already. God has assigned several new tasks for me for the 2nd half.

Now, if the big Coach says that I need to change strategies for me to win the game, then I will. Besides He alone knows what is best for me. As for the people in our team, we have the lil one cheering us on, and is in fact every reason why the 2nd half is more exciting than the first one.

Hold on to your drinks and hope you will be there too during the 2nd half to watch us play!
