Yo! Banana Boy 26 Things: Food Not everyone likes bananas. I do. I go bananas for bananas! (Paranaque City, July 30, 2003) Others submissions to the 26 Things Photo Scavenger Hunt: Money, Weather, Time, Construction, Light and Small Things The word palindrome is derived from the Greek palandromos, meaning running back again (palan = AGAIN + drom-, dramen = RUN). By etymology, a palindrome is a word or phrase which reads the same in both directions. One of the most enjoyable (until I probably ran out of them) things I did during my pre-photolog days was to concoct palindromes. Sometimes play around with some known ones and extend them to form a new and longer palindrome. All this you'd be able to read from my previous blog, here. Here are samples (all original, mind you) : o Amore Roma- my travelogue of our weeklong stay in (of course) Rome. o Dirt Sa Alak, Kala, Astrid - my tribute to my blogger ex-officemates o At I Lab Balita- (And I Love News), a bite at newsbits o Kobe Error or Reebok - not Kobe's recent one. Here's one of my favorites, o Wohs??? Boob Show!!! Any palindromes you know that I haven't discovered? |
