Good Earth Good Earth Rockwell, Makati City, February 2004 Don't be mistaken with the old emporium in downtown Manila back in the 70s, Good Earth is the jaunt to go to for a meal outside the confines of the ubiquitous mall. Let the kids enjoy Rockwell's slides and swings as they play at the nearby playground while you enjoy sumptuous lunch treats from their house specialty pork asado (P 95) topped on your favorite rice or noodles 'mien'. There's fish fillet (P120) with garlic bits which provide the much needed sting and aroma, and other delicacies served within 10-15 minutes after being cooked infront of you. Tuck at the back of Rockwell's Starbucks, and beside the children's playground. It was the former Holland Sausages (with that big Hotdog bun statue replaced by a bicycle with a basket). Visit them if you need that quick Chinese meal at very affordable prices. |
