10. My ultra-talented niece, Raissa, now 11, stealing some shots using my cam and producing the featured picture for this entry. Raissa, or Issa is not just a future lensgirl, but a budding painter and writer (you should see her work), a great badminton player with great form, a singer and a poet too.

9. Cafe Bola at the Greenbelt 3 for great family gatherings. They have food for kids and adults alike. Their wall decors and seats are kid-friendly too. Colorful and cushioned. I enjoyed the food and the service. They were quick on the ball.

8. A great website for transforming music CDs to mp3s. (via digital tour)

7. Sofia Coppola dvd weekend with my umpteenth time viewing of "Lost in Translation" and "Virgin Suicides", as well as letting my wife hear 5-year old Sofia's Bayang Magilaw version. (the link is here, via cynthia,inside)

6. Selecta's "Choco Peanut" Ice cream. So who needs to go to UVA for their choc-nut flavored ice cream when you can get it from your favorite convenience store?

4. Michael Yamashita's 3-part Marco Polo series at National Geographic. Great great bio documentary. I hope NG has it on DVD though. Well, this guy can be the Marco Polo of our times with all his adventures.

3. It works. Of course, but aren't they all made the same? It's all marketing right? Yes Virginia.

2. Why "Blogging is Better than Friendster" #21369. I discovered a long lost friend through a comment box from a favorite tambayan site based in Singapore. That's just 2 degrees.

1. Worst discovery of all, after all those birthday dinners, lunches and midnight snacks, and despite 2 visits to the gym, 4 competitive games of badminton and running with the dog for 5 minutes 3 times this week - I gained 4 pounds and 1 inch. $#@%!!!
