 How Can You Be Different and Stand Out?  Meaningful Candles, with Our Father, being the bigger candle, blessing us 2 small Candles Countdown to April Mississauga, Canada 3 months down, 9 months to go....ang alin? Ang Pasko! Yes, if you don't realize it, another year would've passed. Winter bade goodbye with a last burst of cold winds and flurries and in a huff, the temps from frigid -5 degrees last week are now at mighty 19 degrees. Away with the jackets and welcome back the hoodies, err, the parkas I should say. ******* What is good about celebrating birthdays, aside from all the greasy party food, is the fact that you get a lot of gifts. It's been awhile since I last celebrated a birthday, replete with a cake, candle blowing and gift opening. From all the gifts I was able to do a complete makeover and restocking of my wardrobe (thanks to friends who remembered). ******* Winter has ended. So has Kobe's streak of 50 or more points. Kobe-haters can now breath a sigh of relief that he won't be rewriting history. Just the same, his 43 last night helped the Lakers win their 5th straight win. For a competitive player like Kobe, a W is better than another 50. (I guess :) During the 4-game streak that started during my birthday week, Kobe averaged 56.3 points and shot 54.3 pecent as the team went 4-0.
