Fark for Pinoys Only Brampton, Ontario I know I'm getting a rap out of this. But what is the problem about all the branding about Fil-Am, or Half-Filipino, Half-American? I don't get it. If people were born in Canada, then they are Canadians. If they have Filipino ancestry, then they have Filipino blood. Are we the only country to call our countrymen and people with the same ancestry as if we are "manananggals". ******** And yes, the picture above wasn't funny at all. Obviously, some patriotism just went off the boundaries of decency and being proper. ******** Someone once asked why I pride myself to be called "viajero" as in my other photoblog's name. Although it's true I can't call myself viajero, especially with a website/photoblog that has very limited images of our own Philippine countryside. Good point. So I took this exam, to see how much I have been around the Philippines. I may have not had pictures from the provinces (I wasn't into photography back in the 90s) but I'm proud to say that I'm a B-. So things will be different from hereon and every opportunity to see the beauty of the Philippines will be recorded in Memento. My Lakbayan grade is B-! How much of the Philippines have you visited?
