You ever notice that trees do everything to git attention we do, except walk?"- Alice Walker I just noticed that the tree in front of us, despite the 2 days of snow has one resilient leaf hanging on to dear life and telling Winter to come back as it is not ready to go. The leaf is not being stubborn as the sub-zero degrees temps are going to be a daily fixture from here onwards. It is just his survival mode acting up. ******** Lately, we've considered getting a tree for Christmas. Yes, it will be a first for us to have something whose branches we won't be assembling nor for leaves that are numbered so that the seemingly Pine-tree shape is followed upon completion. Of course it will have a real pine scent without the added dust and box smell after being stored for 11 long months. I'm so excited! ********* How many times have you updated your Facebook status and found out that it was gramatically wrong? or it sounds so juvenile? Well, trouble no more, Facebook is reconsidering the use of the word "is". ********** This is not funny, (but if you were in High School - am sure it will be finger waving-air-guitar moment for you) and I hope other kids won't follow what the student (named Zander) did that got him expelled from his High School...watch. *********** Talk about Christmas Tree and falling....
