Reflection of a Future Year Mississauga, Ontario If it is any indication of the current year, the first week of 2008 was indeed a week that can be summed up into one word - EXCITING! We celebrated the last day and welcomed the new year with a ski trip to Blue Mountain. The weather was good after the big snowstorm that week. The snow for me, was even better this time, than when we first came 2 years ago. The surge of excitement was incomparable, skiing downhill and braking with a fall :) weeeeeee (plop!) Heard mass and shared a great dinner with best friends til the clock ticked 12 midnight. Hosted and emceed the barkadas' Family New Year's Celebration party. Now I know another career path for me now that Bob Barker has retired from game show hosting. It was a different experience being child-like at the start of a year. For the next 2 days, worked sparingly albeit deliberately. Just like everyday, I guess. :) Lastly, donned my "Soprano" look and witnessed the christening of Scout. The Godfather commeth. :) Yes, Love, I wear that only on special occasions and when I'm invited to have coffee and a good conversation inside a beautiful home. And as great game show hosts will say, "that's not all, take a look at this next showcase...." that's just the first week of the year - 2008 has a lot of surprises showcased for all of us! << |
