Just as the last scene rolled in and the last line was said, I actually saw myself cry. Aha! Cry as in like the cartoons with tears flowing from my cheeks! haha! That made me say "Wow. It's been a long time", after that less than a minute show of some male sensitivity. Not even a heap of onions or a dent in the car. Not even a 3-hr document being worked on and not saved, nor the reality of mortality made me breakdown. To think all those happened in a week's time. But I guess it was a combination of all of them and some. The movie last Thursday just capped it all off, rather, opened the dams of tears needed to lubricate my contact lenses. You say boys don't cry? Oh they do. We do. We all do. And I just did. ************ Let's all say a prayer or two for strength for Shai and the family. When you come back Shai, we will still be here. Just be strong for your dad. ************  Yes, they're here in Toronto on Thursday. If they don't sing the theme song for the week, (see blog entry title), I might as well bawl over. My trip to the Philippines has been moved for the 4th time, so it maybe Robert Smith asking me to watch him on Thursday. They're my Fascination, Let's Go * - of course those are The Cure song titles....I just hope they get to sing them on Thursday. ************ Adding "and all you Beautiful Girls" (1:38 of that video) to the non-rock rendition to "Stand by Me" cost American Idol thousands of royalty payment and David Archuleta's dad out of rehearsals. We didn't even notice...it will be Syesha vs. David in the finals. Guess who will win? Me thinks, the same news meant the AI crown from David....wanna bet? ************ Nothing against Fallon, but late nights will never be the same again.
