Beating the Red Light

Leaves are now 50% yellow. In the next few days they will turn crimson then red then fall. Awwww. It seems like yesterday they were all green.

It's like the traffic light, it is bitter sweet to see the red light. But with it comes cooler mornings and maybe a White Christmas?

The past 3 days of October I have spent most of the time working outside. Coffeeshops, the lawn, the park, where ever I can have my writing juices flow. Besides, I only need my internet connection to send emails and reply to them. The good ole blackberry takes care of that.

I love the outdoors and the surreal feeling that you are in an office that is as big as the city. Your officemates are constantly moving. There are so many things happening around. The hustle, the bustle and the sound of people.

So tonight is the Vice Presidential debate. Some might call it the Battle of the Brainless. Rolling Stone thinks so. I beg to disagree. I said it before and however experienced you are, being in front of the camera with a microphone in front, any tiger, or pitbull can have her lipstick smeared. Even the best buckle. Believe me.

Speaking of which, our Bb. Pilipinas World, Janina San Miguel begged off from competition for personal reasons.

We all know being confident is not just in words but should be backed up by action. Just like leaves from a tree, we all have moments that we fall but there's no reason for us not to get up again.
