Faceless in Facebook for the next 40 Days Click left side of photo to go to previous entry/ Click the right half of photo to go to the next
40 Days and 40 Nights Photo Booth I tried everything before, some failed, some were a glowing success. No TV. No coffee. No movies. No fun snacks or junk foods. I even tried to do no blogging, that was one of the failures. So I'm not going to that route again. I can't say I won't Twitter, or Plurk since I stopped that some time back. I can't say I won't take new pics, since my camera is damaged. So why Facebook? Because the world will not stop if I don't update my status. My friends will know where to reach me other than through wall-to-wall messages. Yes, I will be faceless for 40 days and 40 nights. Who cares? I don't think anyone does :) ******** Lent is a 40-day liturgical season leading up to Easter where some Christians recognize the time Jesus spent resisting temptation from Satan, fasting and wandering the desert by giving up something important to them. I'm not calling Facebook demon. But anything that eats so much of your time and becomes an attachment to some - is. There is data that points 75 million users average 3 billion minutes a day, which is (sorry my calculator can only go for 9 digits) almost 40 minutes per day. I think I'm over that amount per day :) Are my brains now smaller? ******** I guess I'm not the only one doing this. ******** << |
