 Dark Day for Sports: Groundhog Day Mississauga, Ontario Two things happened in Pittsburgh today. At 7:30 am, the groundhog saw his shadow. That just means there are 6 more weeks left for Winter. At 10:30pm last night, the city of Pittsburgh celebrated the Steelers' 6th Superbowl, thus the Groundhog stayed for a while to celebrate but went back for a nap for another 6 weeks :) **************** 2004 Groundhog Day 2005 Groundhog Day 2006 Groundhog Day 2008 Groundhog Day ********** So what if you saw Michael Phelps hold a bong? I don't think he inhaled :) Seriously, we are like the Groundhog - we are afraid of our own shadows. We go back to our holes sulking and waiting til everything is safe. Michael Phelps, didn't and instead admitted his wrongful deed. On Monday, the International Olympic Committee issued a statement that they believe Phelps will learn from his “inappropriate behavior.” His 8 Gold Medals are safe...
