Everything around you moves in slow motion. Don't you feel like moving in your music video when you wear those pair of headphones and try to get the vibe of the city? Try these sensations: You are at a street corner waiting to cross, looking at the other side, you see people crossing the street. Again in slow motion. As if time stood still. Here's one website to make it more surreal. Imagine in your own personal meditative state, waiting for a bus, or a subway train (ok, you don't ride public?, just imagine yourself in an airport) when you just hear a song from when you were young and transport you with the feeling of youthfulness. The same feeling when you hear a song like "Do Re Mi" in an Antwerp train station: The rush of nostalgia, of music striking a familiar chord allows your face muscles to make you smile uncontrollably. That's the same feeling I have when songs from the 80s like Depeche Mode's bring me a feeling of vigor, of youth. With last month's release of U2 and this week's Depeche Mode albums (yeah we call them that because they represent a collection of emotions through songs) my 40th year seems really like am 14 again. Zac Efron, who is not 17 but is playing 17 in his new movie with Matthew Perry, will not even come close to who will play me when I'm 14 again (mas cute ako when I was 14) :). More like - this 14-year old who loves Guitar Hero so much that he scored the highest score so far (and broke 80 guitars while practicing to be the best). He is my anti-thesis, because much as I love music I can't play any instrument. Add to this - I can't dance to a tune, I can't sing in tune and I can't swim. Well, that's a different story.
