![]() Day 2 : Normandy's Scenic View Points Click Thumbnail to View Larger Image
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cote D' Albatre is Normandy's coast nearest to the English Channel. Arriving at Fecamp and proceeding to scenic Etretat, our wandering feet and eyes feasted on the surrounds - worthy of a dozen rolls of films. But restraint allowed us to enjoy them more with our own eyes. Etretat is a must for all travellers to Normandy. The path along the cliffs of Falaise D'Aval reveal two great stone arches - likened to elephants dipping their snouts into the blue waters of the English channel. The views were breath taking. Figuratively and literally, as one has to walk a few hundred meters to reach the top. We climbed the Porte d'Aval and were just amazed by the peace and tranquility on top of a cliff. |
