Full Moon Toronto, Ontario The end. Those two words are just plain hard to swallow. They are for those who have losing streaks happy to come by, but for those who love something, who have been passionate about doing things, who have had that oft-repeated questions, is the end near? For Harry Potter - it is. For Amazon.com and its annual 1.5 million pre-selling of HP book releases, it is. For publishers. It is. For Harry Potter fans who grew up at the same time he grew pimples, it is. For everyone who at one time had to contend with, "should I read the book?" or "should I just watch the DVD?". People like me, it is. Harry Potter is living us on July 21. 7-7-7-7-7-7 Triple 7, on the 7th book. Today is 7th of the 7th month of the 7th year of the decade. I wish it was 7:07 in the morning, or in the evening, but it isn't. ********* A good tired. I love having a good tired. When you end the day and look back that you accomplished everything on your list. That's a "good tired". You are tired, and it is good! This is how Harry Chapin when with a conversation with his grandfather, the great definition of a good tired was perfectly made : "My grandfather was a painter. He died at age 88. He illustrated Robert Frost’s first two books of poetry. He was looking at me one day and he said, “Harry, there’s two kinds of tired. There’s good-tired and there’s bad-tired. Let's always have a good tired day! << |
